Main Entrance is located at 65 N. Harvard St., Allston, MA and we highly recommend taking the T (Red Line) to the Harvard Square station. From there it’s an easy 10 minute walk to the main entrance. Find your best MBTA route HERE.

You can also take the Commuter Rail into Boston Landing Station on the Worcester Line. From there, it’s just a 1.1 mile walk. Find schedule and station information HERE and download the mTicket app to buy tickets right on your phone.

Please note that there is no street parking in the surrounding communities, and city officials will be very strict with ticketing and towing. For the easiest travel experience to/from the festival, please leave your vehicle at home and take the T, any ride-share service, taxi, or ride your bicycle. The festival will have bicycle parking on site. We will be updating this leading up to the festival, check this page and social media frequently if you have questions.

What is Boston Calling Music Festival?

Boston Calling Music Festival is a three-day, multi-stage festival featuring the biggest and best acts in live music, comedy, and visual arts. It is held at Harvard’s Athletic Complex in Allston, MA on May 24, 25, & 26, 2019. The event will provide easy access to all performance areas, incredible concessions, indoor performances and many surprises to be announced. All ages are welcome and children under 10 are free.

Will I get a ticket mailed or emailed to me?

No tickets will be issued for this event. All attendees will receive RFID wristbands mailed to the address provided on your Front Gate Ticketing order or picked up onsite at our Box office (for international orders only). Please see Box Office hours above.

If I am picking up my wristband onsite what will I need to show at the Box Office?

Please bring a photo ID (license, passport) for pickup at the Box Office.

I purchased a 3-day pass. Will I receive 3 wristbands?

No, multi-day passes are shipped as ONE wristband and are only valid for one attendee, all three days.

What can I purchase with my RFID wristband?

For the speediest festival experience, we HIGHLY recommend linking a credit or debit card with your wristband before the event. You will be able to purchase food, beer, wine, water, soda and merchandise just by tapping the wristband at the payment point.

Is the Festival accessible to people with disabilities?

What should I bring to the Festival?

Sunscreen (non aerosol)
Non-professional film and digital cameras
(1) Factory-sealed bottle of water (non-glass container)
A small clear plastic bag (no backpacks are allowed inside the festival)
Valid Driver’s License for will-call and/or to purchase alcohol
Comfortable footwear

The following items are prohibited:

Cigarettes, Cigars, Lighters or Tobacco of any kind – Boston Calling is a No Smoking Festival. Due to the composition of some of the fields, cigarettes will not be permitted on site and will be confiscated.
Vape Pens
Large bags/ large backpacks (bags can be no larger than 12” x 12”)
Weapons of any kind
Professional cameras & recording devices (no SLR/DSLR or cameras with detachable lenses)
Illegal substances
Squirt guns, misters, spray bottles, etc
Laser pens and similar focused-light devices
Chairs / Strollers
Cans, canteens, flasks, hydration backpacks (empty water bottles will be allowed)
Bicycles, scooters, personal motorized vehicles
Musical instruments
Sleeping bags (no overnight camping)
Picnic blankets
Any container of liquid other than 1 factory sealed bottle of water
Totem poles or flag sticks
Walkie Talkies
Fake IDs – they will be confiscated and your wristband will be cut without refund.


Safety is the top priority at Boston Calling.  Please be aware of your surroundings and if you see something, say something.  Lock up all valuables in a locker and stay close to friends.  Keep yourself hydrated all weekend long and take advantage of our water refill stations.  Medical tent is located in the central area of our grounds.

Sexual Harassment

Boston Calling has a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind.  It is our philosophy that our guests should be able to enjoy our event in a safe and non-threatening environment.

Boston Calling has a policy requiring that action be taken should anyone appear to be in an unsafe situation and to investigate and resolve all reports of harassment that occur at our event.  Employees, vendors, artists and guests are encouraged to report any interaction that makes them uncomfortable in any way.

Guests should report any allegations of harassment to the nearest event staff.



Any tips on preparation for a day at Boston Calling Music Festival?

We suggest preparing for the event as follows:

Dress in cool, lightweight clothing
Lather up in sunscreen, the shade is limited to smaller parts of the festival grounds
Bring a hat
Wear comfy shoes
Stay hydrated! Drink water before you get to the event and enjoy the beverage offerings of the many vendors at the festival.  You are welcome to bring a factory sealed water bottle or an empty beverage container to use at our free water refill station.

Are there ATMs available if I run low on cash?

Many ATMs will be located around the festival grounds.


What will be available in the food/beer areas?

We will announce our full food & drink lineup in Spring of 2019.

Will you have merchandise for sale?

Festival t-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, and hats from our friends at 47 Brand, limited edition festival posters and many other items will be sold at the main merchandise stand. What happens if the event is cancelled?

In the event a single day or multiple days of the festival are cancelled, ticket holders will be notified of cancellation and refund policy. Artist lineup is subject to change including in the event of weather.
